所謂客製化，是近年來很流行的用語，表示針對消費者的需求，量身打造出一套專屬的產品；現在英語教學，也可以走向這個路線，Iris 老師可以針對同學的程度，規劃設計最適合你的課程。不管是聽說讀寫，或是是任何最想加強的單一語言能力，絕對都沒有規劃上的問題！有興趣瞭解詳情的同學，歡迎在留言版留言和我聯絡～

最近有愈來愈多的同學，寫信或留言給Iris老師，詢問家教課程；為了讓自己記住，所以Iris老師特地把它們有系統的列出來，同時，同學也可以根據自己需要的類別，先大概知道我的上課方式。

至於收費方式，請私下再留言給老師。個人及團體班鐘點費會有不同，為了確保教學品質，團體班以4人為上限。

上課地點，以約在外面為主；若有特殊需求（例如，要安靜的地方做聽力測驗），可以再討論做調整。

成人家教課程 A
針對想自我加強的同學設計的長期課程（半年以上），按照同學的英語程度編排，除了同學著重的部份外，也會適時加入其它講義，以期聽說讀寫同時成長。以下所列部份，會依同學需求做調整，或者是不列入課程編排中。

1. 發音部份：以Phonics融合KK音標，為Iris老師親自設計的獨家講義。

本篇只是聽力測驗的應試大概，未來Iris老師還會針對不同的考試，給同學們更詳細一點的說明。

Today we tell about the expression "down to earth." Down to earth means being open and honest.  It is easy to deal with someone who is down to earth.

A person who is down to earth is a pleasure to find.  He or she accepts other people as equals. A down to earth person is the opposite of someone who acts important or proud.

Down to earth people could be important members of society. But they do not consider themselves to be better than others who are less important.  They do not let their importance "go to their heads." Someone who lets something go to his head feels he is better than others. He has a "big head."

A person who is filled with his own importance and pride is said to have "his nose in the air." Often the person who has a big head and his nose in the air has no reason to feel better than others. He surely is the opposite of someone who is down to earth.

Americans use another expression that is similar in some ways to down to earth. The expression is "both feet on the ground."  Some one with both feet on the ground is a person with a good understanding of reality. She has what is called "common sense." She may have dreams. But she does not allow them to block her understanding of what is real.

The signs of spring are here. Trees are budding, grass is greening — and millions of allergy sufferers are taking pills, inhaling nasal sprays and avoiding the outdoors to control reactions that range from mild sniffles to dangerous asthma attacks. Few, however, are using what may be the most effective treatment for uncontrolled symptoms: immunotherapy, or what most people know as allergy shots. The practice of injecting people with increasing amounts of the substances they are allergic to, so they can build gradual tolerance, is nearly 100 years old.
春天已經到來，樹本開始發出新葉，青草原也再度出現 - 百萬計的過敏患者又開始吃藥、使用通鼻劑、加上盡量不外出，才能控制從輕微鼻塞到嚴重氣喘發作的反應。 但是，卻有一些患者，正在使用可能是目前最有效的治療法，來對抗無法控制的症狀：免疫療法 (或者是大部份人所熟知的抗敏針)。在實用上已有 100 年之久，主要以注入人們會過敏的物質，逐次增加劑量，讓患者可漸漸的建立起忍受力。

But shots are used by just 5% of nasal allergy patients.
但是，只有 5 % 的鼻子過敏患者，有接受抗敏針療法。
